I’m a working mom of two who recently went on a work trip. Before leaving, I gave my husband a list of instructions and reminders about our kids’ schedules. I meal-prepped for a week, did the laundry, and laid out the kids’ outfits for every day. I DID EVERYTHING I COULD TO MAKE HIS LIFE EASIER for him while I was working out of state. TELL ME WHY I CAME BACK TO A HOUSE IN SHAMBLES?! On my way from the airport, all I could think about was my comfy bed and a warm dinner. I ALMOST BROKE DOWN CRYING WHEN I SAW what happened to the house while I was gone. There was nothing to eat, and my bed was covered in piles of clothes. HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT IN A WEEK?! When my husband got home, he said, “Oh, thank God you’re back! I’m starving. You didn’t make enough food for the week.” AND THAT’S WHEN I ⬇️
