Nicole Kidman Heartbroken as She Loses Her Beloved Mother

Nicole Kidman left the Venice Film Festival suddenly after her mother passed away. She was there for her new movie, Babygirl, where she won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress.

The movie’s director, Halina Reijn, accepted the award for Kidman. She shared that Kidman had to fly home after hearing the sad news about her mother.

In a statement read by Reijn, Kidman said she found out about her mom’s death shortly after arriving in Venice. She said, “I’m in shock and I have to go to my family.

Kidman dedicated the award to her mother, saying, “This award is for her. She shaped me, she guided me, and she made me.” She also shared, “My heart is broken.” The audience was shocked by the sad news.
